Hi friends,

I saw in the War Diary of the Comando Supremo for 30.11./01.12.1942 the passage, which is accounting for a success of HMS/M URSULA:

DIARIO STORICO DEL COMANDO SUPREMO VOL VIII TOMO1 - PARTE TERZA, page 930:
https://issuu.com/rivista.militare1/docs/diario-vol-viii-tomo3-testo/48

It states the vessel sunk was GENA.

In the Allied Submarine Attacks Database and uboat.net V.135 / TOGO is gives as the vessel sunk.

Is there any connection between this two names?

Thank you

Regards, Darius.

TOGO was a motor-schooner, a cargo brigantino-goletta of 105 or 108 grt, built as TOGO in 1905 by Francesco Terrizzano at Oneglia, first owner Carlo Polacci & C. of Forte dei Marmi, in the '20s MARIA T. for Giuseppe Bongiardino & C. of Siracusa, in 1926 again TOGO for Luigi Zonza of Porto Santo Stefano, engined with a diesel motor in 1938, requisitioned by the Regia Marina at Porto Santo Stefano on 22.10.1940 as the vedetta foranea V 135 for the Vigilanza foranea service,

Hi guys,

thank you for your fast answers. A position naming was also in my opinion, when I was taking look for possibilities.
But now it´s for sure.

Is there a source for the naming of this and other positions? Or had we just to look through war daries or DEFE-files?

Regards &  :MG:
