Warship 2025

Per vari motivi ho tardato ad acquistare l’edizione 2025 di Warship, arrivata qualche settimana fa sulla mia scrivania.
“Warship 2025”, a cura di John Jordan, edizioni Osprey, 224 pagine, prezzo 50 euro circa.
Nella solita curatissima edizione tipografica, con splendide foto ed ottimi disegni “al tratto” (come si usava una volta), presenta una serie di saggi, uno più interessante dell’altro.
In questo numero spicca, per gli interessi italiani, il saggio di Michele Cosentino sui progetti per gli incrociatori da battaglia e i monitori fra le due guerre mondiali; tanto singolare, quanto approfondito.
Mi sono piaciuti anche i saggi sulla ricostruzione della flotta da battaglia giapponese dopo la prima guerra mondiale e quello sul concorso del 1911 per un incrociatore da battaglia per la Marina Russa.
