The Brisbane Courier 14.1.1885: The vessel was sent to Aviles, in Spain, in March last, being her first                                        
voyage in the foreign trade. Just before arriving at her destination she grounded, being seriously damaged.                                        
After being repaired the vessel started for Liverpool, but again broke down, and a tug was sent from Liverpool                                        
to her assistance. (a Mr D. Erskine Jones was managing shareholder of the steamer)
